TPA Membership Packages
PhD Hub
No. Every plan includes topic development and proposal support as part of the full programme library. You can join while still choosing a topic or several chapters into your thesis.
It's structured support that runs alongside your supervisor, not a replacement for one. Once you subscribe, you get the full programme library, monthly live group coaching, monthly workshops, community mastermind access, and a set number of support emails per month, each answered within two working days. Your supervisor remains the formal authority on your degree.
The annual plan (PhD Completion Retainer at R14,999 per year, or R12,999 if paid upfront) works out to significant savings compared with paying monthly, and unlocks deeper support: chapter-level feedback, methodology guidance, milestone and risk tracking. The monthly plan (PhD Momentum Builder at R1,499) gives full access with lighter-touch support and no annual commitment.
PhD Momentum Builder includes four support emails a month. PhD Completion Retainer includes six. Each gets a response within two working days. If your workload needs more hands-on, individualised support than a subscription tier offers, a Research Consultation can be requested to scope a tailored arrangement.
Yes. Each plan is subscription based, so if you want to cancel or switch you can do both as with any subscription based plan.
Yes, everything submitted through TPA, documents and personal information alike, is handled under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your research, data, and intellectual property are never shared, published, or used without your explicit consent.
PhD Pro and PhD Research subscribers get access to the PhD Scholars Breakfast Circles as annual members, with candidates covering their own attendance costs. Full details, dates, and format sit on the dedicated PhD Breakfast Series page.
